Speaker bio:
Dr. Cynthia Lokker is a health research methodologist and researcher in the Health Information Research Unit, Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact at McMaster University. Her research focuses on leveraging information retrieval and summarization approaches, particularly machine learning and natural language processing, to support evidence-based medicine and knowledge translation. She is the Faculty of Health Sciences coordinator for the interdisciplinary MSc in eHealth and has expertise in digital health and evaluating mobile health applications.
