There is a wide range of offerings through Health ICE for anyone in the McMaster community working on a health innovation idea, whether you’re just starting out or have already built a company around your innovation.
Does The Clinic or Health ICE own my IP or take equity in my startup for being part of the programs?
We do not take equity or IP ownership from those we support. Speak to the McMaster Industry Liaison Office (MILO) to determine if you fall under McMaster’s IP Policy.
We do not provide funding through our initiative, however we do provide support in developing your funding strategy, identifying relevant opportunities, developing your pitch, and commercialization grants.
The Clinic is a Mitacs-approved incubator and those enrolled in Residency @ The Clinic have access to Mitacs Accelerate Entrepreneur funding. Learn more here.
