Welcome to the Master of Biomedical Innovation Program

The MBI program is designed to provide you with a unique educational experience that integrates biomedical innovation and entrepreneurship in the fields of health sciences, business and engineering. Our program stands out for its experiential and project-based approach.

Throughout the program, you will be supported by supervisors, mentors and instructors who have experience in health care entrepreneurship.

Dave Mammoliti

Program Director, Master of Biomedical Innovation

Dr. Dave Mammoliti provides academic and strategic leadership for the Marnix E. Heersink School of Biomedical Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Dave leads the MBI program’s vision, curriculum, student recruitment, experiential learning, and partnerships across healthcare, academia, industry, and the broader innovation ecosystem.

Prior to joining the DeGroote Heersink Hub, he spent more than 16 years leading Executive Programs at the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University, directing hundreds of leadership development programs for managers, executives, and board members across Canada.

Dave holds a PhD from the University of Toronto, Master of Education from Brock University and holds a Chartered Director (C.Dir.) designation from The Directors College, McMaster University.
