What is the Masterclass?

The Innovation Masterclass supports innovators in defining healthcare problems, developing strong value propositions, and aligning their innovations with real-world healthcare needs. Participants learn how to position their ideas for practical implementation, build compelling pitch decks, and navigate commercialization pathways.

Expectations

  • Participants must enter the program with an existing idea.
  • Pre-readings (videos, articles, and case studies) must be completed before each session.
  • Participants should be prepared for additional ‘homework’ between sessions.
  • Pitch decks will be revised weekly in preparation for the final presentation.

Researchers, clinicians, graduate students, and entrepreneurs developing health or biomedical innovations who wish to strengthen their commercialization and storytelling skills.

Application Process

Applications will be reviewed for fit and readiness. Selected applicants will be invited to a short interview with the Heersink School team before acceptance.
